Kazuyoshi Hisano: Guiding Leaders Bridge the Gap Between Vision and Excellence

TEXAS CITY, Texas – Kazuyoshi Hisano, CEO and President of Conoway Inc., transforms the uncertain gap between vision and achievement into a clear, actionable path. Through his trademarked CEO Coaching brand in Japan, he supports top executives using a structured, results-driven method known as the Gold Vision Method.

This method begins by setting a bold and meaningful vision grounded in three human-centered axes: Greatness (beyond the current state), Want-to (authentic desire), and Many (a balanced life). Six structured steps follow: set the vision, identify key actions, build habits, track progress, compare results, and continually improve through what he calls Feedforward Action (FFA). The system pairs clarity with discipline, helping leaders move from intention to measurable results.

Hisano’s journey into coaching stems from a desire to both run a business and help others succeed. After graduating top of his MBA class at Tsukuba University, he established CEO Coaching to meet both goals—building his own company while enabling other leaders to grow theirs. His coaching often takes place “in the fog”—the uncertain, high-pressure environment CEOs face. In one case, a months-long coaching process helped a CEO navigate a delicate internal conflict, showing how patience and clarity drive resolution.

Central to Hisano’s leadership is trust and authenticity. At Conoway, he delegates, relies on his team, and fosters a culture of openness, where challenges are discussed without posturing. He believes coaches must think at high levels of abstraction, balancing the big picture with on-the-ground strategy.

Hisano sees AI as the most critical force shaping the future of coaching. While some tasks may be automated, new opportunities will emerge for coaches who adapt. His warning is clear: resisting change means falling behind.

For aspiring coaches, his advice is simple but profound: help someone grow. This act not only supports others but fuels the coach’s own development.

Looking ahead, Hisano’s ambition is to make coaching knowledge freely available to underserved populations. With technology as his ally, he aims to scale Gold Vision and Feedforward thinking globally, reducing barriers to leadership development. His work is a steady rhythm of vision, action, and learning—a process that turns the future into something real.
