NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fred Hassen Claims PSA Level 3 World Championship Title with stellar protection performance in Nashville Tennessee– November 15-16 2025 – In a commanding display of precision and partnership, Fred Hassen, founder and CEO of Sit Means Sit Dog Training, has won the 2025 PSA (Protection Sports Association) World Championships in the grueling Level 3 division.

Competing with his dynamic Belgian Malinois, Ruin, Hassen not only secured the overall championship but also earned high score honors in the protection portion, showcasing unmatched control and intensity under pressure. The PSA World Championships, held, drew elite handlers from around the globe for this pinnacle event in working dog sports. Level 3 represents the sport’s highest challenge, demanding flawless obedience, agility, and tactical protection skills amid escalating distractions and threats. Hassen and Ruin’s routine blended razor-sharp commands with explosive drive, earning judges’ praise for its seamless execution and unbreakable bond.

This win is a testament to the Sit Means Sit philosophy-results through relationship, said Hassen, a veteran trainer with over two decades of experience shaping police K9 units and family companions alike. Ruin’s heart and our shared prep made the difference. Huge shoutout to my team, including Khoi Pham, for the grind behind the scenes. Hassen’s victory builds on a storied resume, including his 2022 PSA 3rd Place in National Championship in Level 3. As a sought-after speaker and innovator in e-collar training, he continues to elevate standards for professional and everyday dog handlers worldwide.
