New Partnership: Resident Inspect + HomeLab Expand Virtual Inspection Access for Property Managers

SAN ANTONIO – Resident Inspect, a leading virtual inspection software built for property management professionals, today announced a new partnership with HomeLab Property Management to deliver a modern, streamlined, and resident-friendly inspection experience across Home Lab’s managed portfolio.

Through this partnership, HomeLab Property Management will integrate Resident Inspect’s verified guided virtual inspection technology—including guided workflows, time-stamped photos, into their renewal, and periodic inspection processes.

The collaboration is designed to reduce operational workload, eliminate scheduling bottlenecks, and provide owners with more consistent, higher-quality property documentation.

“Home Lab Property Management exemplifies what modern, innovative property management looks like,” said Aaron Cooper, Founder, Resident Inspect. “Their team cares deeply about resident experience and operational efficiency, and we’re proud to support their vision by giving them a scalable solution for verified virtual inspections.”

Resident Inspect allows residents to complete guided inspections directly from their mobile devices, delivering a seamless alternative to traditional in-person walkthroughs. Every submission is automatically structured into an inspection report that provides transparency for owners and measurable efficiency gains for operations teams.

“Our partnership with Resident Inspect reflects our commitment to improving both resident convenience and owner confidence,” said Christopher Wood, Owner, HomeLab Property Management. “Virtual inspections allow us to maintain strong oversight while giving our team more time to focus on what matters most, serving our clients.”

The partnership brings several key benefits:

  • Verified virtual inspections software with resident-guided workflows
  • Higher consistency and accuracy across all inspection types
  • Time-stamped photos, HD video, and GPS verification
  • Automated audit trails and cloud-based inspection reports
  • Reduced labor hours and minimized in-person scheduling
  • A faster, more transparent process for residents and owners

The rollout will begin with virtual move-in and renewal inspections, followed by portfolio-wide expansion into periodic inspections in early 2025. Both teams anticipate additional collaboration around maintenance troubleshooting and owner reporting enhancements.
