PortaSauna Joins Forces with CampWild for Off-Grid Autumn Retreat
PORTSMOUTH, U.K. – Portable sauna brand PortaSauna has partnered with outdoor adventure platform CampWild to launch an off-grid wellness experience in the heart of Monmouthshire. The retreat blended wild camping, wood-fired saunas, and cold water immersion in a fully off-grid setting.
Set at a hidden CampWild location near Abergavenny, guests camped under the stars, cooked over open fires, and embraced contrast therapy using PortaSauna’s mobile HEX and HEXXL saunas, paired with natural plunge pools filled with spring water.
Designed to reconnect people with nature, the event tapped into a growing trend of “rewilding wellness,” where outdoor living meets ancient health practices like sauna bathing and cold exposure. Attendees took part in guided hikes, social sauna sessions, and morning plunges – all tech-free and grounded in simplicity.
