Created by 6 Love Sports founder Andi Neugarten, the Junior Development Grant reflects the organization’s mission to champion women and girls in padel-on and off the court. This program provides promising junior female athletes with financial support, mentorship, visibility, and community engagement opportunities, helping them pursue their athletic dreams while contributing to the global growth of women’s padel.
A Program Built for Impact
The 6 Love Sports Junior Development Grant provides selected junior athletes with:
- Annual financial assistance to support training, coaching, travel, and tournament participation.
- A platform for storytelling and inspiration, including monthly video messages to the 6 Love Sports community.
- Opportunities to participate in 6 Love Sports clinics, events, leagues, and activations whenever possible.
- Enhanced visibility, supported by the organization’s powerful media channels and international network.
- Mentorship and development, connecting young athletes with a global community of women dedicated to advancing the sport.
At its core, the program is dedicated to developing young female athletes in the United States, where padel’s growth is accelerating at an unprecedented pace. As the sport progresses toward becoming an Olympic discipline, 6 Love Sports believes that building a strong junior foundation is essential. By identifying and supporting young talent early, the program aims to ensure that future U.S. athletes are prepared to compete—and win—on the world stage. Furthermore, the long-term vision is to expand the Junior Development Grant into a global initiative, enabling young women in other countries to benefit from the same opportunities, support systems, and pathways that 6 Love Sports is creating in the USA.
A Historic First: 2026 Grant Recipient – Ornella Beltramino
6 Love Sports is proud to announce that the first official recipient of the Junior Development Grant is rising global talent Ornella Beltramino, one of the most promising young female padel players in the world today.
“Andi Neugarten and 6 Love Sports are building something extraordinary for women in padel,” said Ornella. “To be recognized and supported by this community means everything to me. My dream is to inspire young girls around the world to believe in themselves and pursue greatness.”
Ornella’s involvement includes inspirational content, training insights, participation in 6LS events when possible, and leadership in junior-focused activations. Her global profile will continue to rise, aided by the PR, social media amplification, and sponsorship visibility provided by 6 Love Sports.
