PUBLISHING GUIDELINES

Press Release Guidelines

Clear standards help protect publishers, agencies, clients and the usefulness of the distribution network.

Press release format

Submissions should contain a clear newsworthy headline, accurate company identification, factual body copy, appropriate contact information and any required legal or financial disclosures.

Accuracy and substantiation

The submitting agency is responsible for verifying names, dates, figures, quotations, product claims, financial claims, medical claims and all other material statements before submission.

Prohibited practices

Do not submit unlawful content, impersonation, fabricated endorsements, malware, phishing, deceptive investment schemes, undisclosed manipulation, hate or harassment, copyright-infringing material, or content intended to mislead publishers or readers.

Media acceptance

Selection of a media destination does not override that destination’s editorial, compliance, technical or availability requirements. A submission may be rejected, delayed or require edits.

Corrections

If a material error is discovered, contact support promptly. Corrections, updates, removals and redistribution may depend on the destination and may incur additional work or fees.
