A veteran owned Cheyenne provider highlights a VA published feature and educates families on home based alternatives to institutional care.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Veteran owned provider expands awareness of family style, in home supportive care for eligible Veterans

Essential Living Support, LLC, a veteran owned home and community based care provider in Cheyenne, Wyoming, announced increased community outreach efforts following a recent Veterans Affairs (VA) published feature that discussed the VA Medical Foster Home (MFH) model and included reference to local Medical Foster Home services.

The VA Medical Foster Home program is designed to support eligible Veterans who prefer a safe, stable, family style living environment rather than an institutional setting. In a Medical Foster Home, Veterans receive around the clock care and supervision in a private home setting, with clinical oversight coordinated through the VA.

“As a veteran owned provider, my goal is to make sure Veterans and families in Cheyenne understand their options and know that a Medical Foster Home can feel like home while still providing structure, safety, and daily support,” said Richard Brown Jr., Founder of Essential Living Support, LLC. “When the VA highlights this model publicly, it helps more people learn that there are alternatives to traditional facilities, and that local programs exist to support Veterans with dignity.”

Essential Living Support, LLC provides individualized support that may include assistance with activities of daily living, medication reminders and support as permitted, transportation coordination, meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping support, companionship, and community integration support. Services are delivered with an emphasis on respect, consistency, and person centered care.

In addition to Veteran focused services, Essential Living Support, LLC also provides Home and Community Based Services that support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in maintaining independence and quality of life in the community.

Richard Brown Jr. is available for interviews to discuss VA approved Medical Foster Home care, caregiver standards in home based settings, and how families can explore options for supportive care in Cheyenne and surrounding areas. https://www.essentiallivingsupport.com.
