Noah Coughlan entered Brattleboro, VT on Christmas Day, finishing New Hampshire on a historic FIFTH Run across the continental United States.

BENNINGTON, Vt. – Noah Coughlan is attempting to become only the THIRD person ever to cross every U.S. State on foot. On Christmas Day 2025, Noah Coughlan came one State closer to making history as he finished New Hampshire (41) and entered Vermont (42). He will run through Wilmington and Bennington enroute to his 43rd State, New York.

On the “Run For America : A Tribute to The American People”, Noah has remained determined and resolute in the face of crippling cold temperatures, fatigue, and weight loss as he crosses the Vermont section of the Appalachian Mountains running solo with a large American Flag attached to his jogging stroller.

His mission – to honor everyday American and Veterans and encourage unity while highlighting the enduring spirit of America for a renewed appreciation for our shared history.
Coughlan has shown great success, meeting with World War II Veterans, elected officials, active duty military, schools and students, and everyday Americans daily.

For most, the extreme circumstances would be a challenge, but not for Coughlan. He has previously completed FOUR ocean to ocean Runs across America in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2023, as well as a 600 mile Run around Ireland in 2020.

Coughlan is currently on Day 70 of 260, and has run over 1400 miles of a projected 5500 total across 20 States. His route will continue through New York and the northern States to Oregon where he will finish all lower 48 States in May 2026. He will continue with Alaska and finally finish all 50 States on July 4th, 2026, on the nation’s 250th Birthday celebration in Honolulu, Hawaii.
