Surf Air Mobility (N Y S E: SRFM) $SRFM Reported $27.4M Exceeded Guidance, with Six New LOI Agreements, Flagship Product Suite Launch and 5 Year Exclusive Software Partnership with Palantir.

HAWTHORNE, Calif. – Surf Air Mobility, Inc. (N Y S E: SRFM), a leading regional air mobility platform and one of the largest commuter airlines in the U.S. by scheduled departures, continues to redefine short-haul aviation with groundbreaking milestones that position it at the forefront of electrified and AI-powered air travel.

Successful Commercial Demonstrations with Electra Aero at Virginia Tech

In partnership with Electra.aero, Inc. and Virginia Tech, Surf Air Mobility has completed the first series of public demonstrations showcasing Electra’s Ultra Short aircraft capabilities. These flights demonstrated how blown lift technology and hybrid-electric propulsion enable takeoffs and landings in 150 feet or less, a revolutionary advancement for regional and urban air mobility.

Captured in a forthcoming video series, these demonstrations highlight how such aircraft can operate from ultra-short access points—transforming underutilized areas such as small airstrips, campuses, or austere environments into efficient mobility hubs.

This achievement accelerates Electra’s vision to bring its EL-9 Ultra Short aircraft to commercial service by 2029, and Surf Air Mobility is expected to play a pivotal role in bringing this technology to market at scale through its SurfOS™ AI-powered platform and established nationwide commuter network.

Record-Setting Quarter and Strategic Expansion

Surf Air Mobility reported Q2 2025 revenue of $27.4 million, exceeding guidance and demonstrating operational profitability within its airline business. Despite an adjusted EBITDA loss of $9.5 million, the company’s growth trajectory remains robust, underpinned by record reliability metrics, two Essential Air Service (EAS) contract renewals, and a new interline agreement with Japan Airlines.

Additionally, Surf Air secured six new Letters of Intent (LOIs), launched its flagship product suite, and announced a five-year exclusive software partnership with Palantir Technologies (N A S D A Q: PLTR)—a move that underscores the company’s technological ambitions.

SurfOS™: The Future of AI-Powered Regional Aviation

Surf Air Mobility’s proprietary SurfOS™ software platform, developed in collaboration with Palantir’s AI and Foundry platforms, is designed to optimize safety, efficiency, and profitability across the regional air mobility industry. The platform leverages real-time data analytics, predictive maintenance, and network optimization tools to revolutionize how operators manage fleet performance and route economics.

With Palantir’s technology and Surf Air’s operational expertise, SurfOS™ aims to become the industry’s leading digital infrastructure for electrified and hybrid-electric aviation.

Strategic Leadership: Former Palantir Executive Joins Board

Further strengthening its leadership bench, Surf Air Mobility announced the appointment of Shawn Pelsinger to its Board of Directors. Pelsinger, formerly Global Head of Corporate Development & Senior Counsel at Palantir Technologies, now serves as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Acrisure, a global fintech leader.

During his decade at Palantir, Pelsinger was instrumental in forging the strategic partnership between Surf Air Mobility and Palantir, and his expertise in aviation technology, AI-driven platforms, and complex regulatory environments is expected to accelerate Surf Air’s next phase of growth.

Largest U.S. Passenger Operator of Cessna Caravans

Surf Air Mobility operates through its subbrands Southern Airways and Mokulele Airlines, collectively making it the largest U.S. passenger operator of Cessna Caravans. The company’s ongoing electrification initiative aims to develop proprietary electric powertrain technology for the Caravan fleet—paving the way for reduced emissions, lower operating costs, and sustainable regional connectivity.

Analyst Support and Outlook

Following these developments, Stonegate Capital Partners reaffirmed its positive outlook on $SRFM citing strong operational execution, expanding partnerships, and growing investor confidence in the company’s electrification and AI strategy.

About Surf Air Mobility (N Y S E: SRFM)

Surf Air Mobility is a Los Angeles-based regional air mobility platform focused on transforming regional aviation through electrified aircraft and AI-powered operations software. With one of the largest commuter networks in the U.S. and a strong technology roadmap, SRFM is building the future of accessible, sustainable regional air travel.
