Olivia Greenhalgh returns to Swellaway as Chief Technical Officer in a broader, strategic role
MANCHESTER, U.K. – Swellaway, Ltd., a leading innovator in sports technology and recovery solutions, is pleased to announce the return of Olivia Greenhalgh, PhD, to Swellaway and her appointment as Chief Technical Officer, effective immediately.
Olivia Greenhalgh combines a decade of academic research as well as health technology leadership experience to Swellaway, Ltd. Olivia worked at Swellaway previously and played a critical role in the research and development of the initial Swellaway product, ProMOTION EV1. Most recently, Olivia held a Senior Research Associate position at Lancaster University, on a collaborative project working with Manchester Metropolitan University and Keele University. Her proven track record in driving step-change innovation in the world of cryotherapy and sports technology makes her an ideal leader to guide Swellaway, Ltd. through its next phase of expansion and product innovation.

Ms. Greenhalgh holds PhD focusing on the development of clinical protocols using the ProMOTION EV1 for knee injury management from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor’s of Engineering with a concentration in Sports Technology from Sheffield Hallam University.
