Sharjah Hosts the World’s Largest Jewelry Design Celebration: The WADA Awards 2025
SHARJAH, UAE – The World Academy of Design (UAE) proudly organized the WADA Awards, the most prestigious international jewelry design competition, held at the SRTI Park in Sharjah. The event, which brought together over 400 designers from around the globe, celebrated outstanding creativity and craftsmanship across 11 fine jewellery categories, recognizing the pinnacle of excellence in jewelry design.
The WADA Awards, renowned for its rigorous judging criteria and esteemed panel of judges, awarded 55 winning designs, each crafted by top jewellers worldwide. The awards distinguished the excellence of both the designers and the manufacturers. Organized by World Academy of Design – UAE. Event is supported by Dubai City of Gold, ICA (International Colored Gemstone Association) and IEG (Italian Exhibition Group)
🌟 Exciting News from Sharjah! 🌟
On September twenty-seventh, two thousand twenty-five, the World Academy of Design hosted the WADA Awards, the premier international jewelry design competition at SRTI Park Sharjah.
Over four hundred talented designers from around the globe participated, showcasing their innovative work across eleven categories. We celebrated fifty-five outstanding designs, with winners receiving the prestigious “Jewelry Designer of the World” and “Jewelry Manufacturer of the World” titles.
MD of WADA Awards Mr. Tarun Jain, extended, “A special thank you to our esteemed judges, led by Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri, President of CIBJO (The World Jewellery Confederation).” The fashion show partners were CARA Jewellery Dubai who showcased stunning Diamond jewellery pieces on world-class models. EY Jewelry from Dubai led by Ms. Elmira also showcased their stunning Daily wear jewellery on world class Models and launched their new jewellery brand “Elmira Yaghoot” from WADA Platform.
Ms. Mahima Verma Founder and CEO of WADA said, “We extend our congratulations to Lifetime Achievement Award recipients Abdoulaye Ndiaye, Chairman of Grizzly, World’s Largest Emeralds mining company and D.B.
